Miguel’s Salsa takes home top prize at Fresno’s Salsa Throwdown

Miguel’s Salsa, a growing Clovis Culinary Center business, won the Judge’s Choice Award at the first Salsa Throwdown at Taco Truck Throwdown 12.

Miguel and Lisa Segura started Miguel’s Salsa during the pandemic, using the Clovis Culinary Center, a nonprofit commercial kitchen and business incubator, to take Miguel’s hobby of making homemade salsa, using his mom’s recipe, from hobby to successful food business.

Since starting, the Segura’s have grown the business to include catering and cooking classes.
